AVID - Advancement Via Individual Determination - is a college preparatory program quickly becoming popular in the US for middle schools and high schools. Last month, we went through an AVID training session which covered WICOR strategies. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had already been using these strategies in my classrooms for many years!
